Pull off a complementary colour scheme in your bedroom

Use stimulating complementary hues, artfully combined, to banish winter woes.

POWER COUPLE

THE LOOK

Yellow and purple are a colour pair. Here, they are tempered with accents of high shine, natural textures and chunky knits, and the recessive, industrial tones of raw concrete.

THE COLOURS

This classic, complementary palette is reminiscent of irises and pansies. True to nature, it’s an uplifting combination, especially in contrast to winter’s austerity. Purple is the colour of creativity, with Sunkissed (Y3-A1-2) yellow adding energy and optimism, and contemporary grey harmonising the two.
